Thanks Typhoon. These high PR forums are an excellent way to get your blog or website indexed, not to mention the added traffic and link juice. Also here is a technique to embed your link directly onto a post.

Just copy/paste an excerpt from a previous post. In the excerpt, edit the code to include a link from a word or punctuation. This is a neat way to get a high PR and traffic blog to index one of your own new sites or pages.

No there is no any risk for make the blog do follow. Why some people make there blog do follow? because to increase the traffic & make it blog popular & you have total control on your blog about comment delete all the comments which you feel like this is the harmful for your blog.

I like your list. I am currently getting ready to publish one on Raief. It has some of the same ones and some others that I already use that are not included on yours. I have been researching it for about three months, along with article directories and general directories. I published one short article directory already and almost ready with the forums list and the larger general directory list, which has taken nearly three months to complete.
I include the page ranking for both Google and Alexa with my lists. That is how they differ from most others. Plus I update them fairly often.

Nope, there is absolutely no risk of making our blog dofollow. With dofollow the link juice from your site will flow to your commentators website and vice-versa if you comment on a dofollow blog.
