Dirty Trick For Getting Backlinks From Google

by Sushant Risodkar · 84 comments

Might be thinking from the title what I am going to share with you today and why it is called ‘Dirty’. I won’t let you wait for it; The thing is called ‘Google Notebook‘.

Google Notebook is a web research tool that allows users to clip text, search results, and images from web pages and place them in notebooks for later use.

Notebook entries can be defined as public or private. So, here’s the rub. While surfing on the net I came to know about this trick according to which you can easily get some backlinks from your article or notes published in your Google notebook.

So I published an article into my Google notebook with some links pointing towards my blog and when I checked the links that whether it is Dofollow or Nofollow and OMG, these links were Do-Follow. You can check it here. Since I have done this trick just few days back so I am expecting that it will surely show some results to me after some days. Meanwhile, I also came to know that these pages gets listed on Microsoft search Engine fast which is the amongst the top 10 sites of the world.

I think that links in Google notebook might be a good thing to do for a little backlinks and deep links for interior site pages, but interlinking them in this fashion along with nonsense content screams spammm. What are your opinions about it?

[Update: Google have stopped new sign-ups for Google Notebook. Therfore you can not try this method if you haven’t registered for it earlier. Sorry!]

Interesting. I signed up for Google Notebook ages ago and completely forgot about it! Now you’ve shown me a new use for it. Thanks! (Not sure it’s going to result in anything significant, but I doubt Google’s going to penalize anyone for using it as long as they’re not just posting spam and garbage.) I set up a notebook to keep track of virtual book tours – and it just happens to have a link to mine! 🙂

Lets wait for his another articles to get the most out of any other services.

Senthil Ramesh December 6, 2009 at 7:50 pm

I cant believe this. The first thing that surprised me is we can get backlinks from Google Notebook. I was thinking it was a useless or not-so-worth service of Google. Even Google has stopped its client version I think. The next thing is do follow. Surely, I must chk it out to see how it can link me back and whether it can increase traffic to my blog.

Yes, and this technique is just 1 from 100 technique :P. But still, hope the registration is opened again. Or actually, google can monetize it by selling the membership. How do you think?

Senthil Ramesh December 12, 2009 at 9:42 am

Yes may be. They can give limitations to free users and no limitations to paid and premium members.

akira07 December 8, 2009 at 4:46 pm

Since new sign-up is not available, i’m sure people who already register can monetize their account by selling account or make link. The price rate can be high since it’s comes from google. How lucky their are..!!!
