I think 2009 was one of the worst phase when news of theft thousands of passwords to online email services surfaced on the headlines. This time too Gmail System is hacked and Google has blamed China but China feels it has been used as a scapegoat.

The first time I saw that warning message “This site may harm your computer” on the screen it got me really scared, I’m sure no user would dare to explore that kind of warnings. Those kinds of warnings about sites harming my computer scare the bejeepers out of me. I mean, after all, getting a virus is about one of the most undesirable things you can do on a computer, short of looking up Chuck Norris.I have to argue for the opposite team, though, when I say this is sort of ethical hacking. I mean, look at it objectively: they haven’t CHANGED anything drastically or altered anything that could damage a site, they haven’t stolen details and, overall, they haven’t been exactly malicious. I think this is more a case of boredom. Start investing in more YMCAs and this kind of thing will probably go down (well, maybe not, but it’s a good start!)

I tell you what, thank the good Lord that they’ve fixed this.
