To Check any banned links; just go to google and add this string in that box:
site:www.yoursite.com
If it is banned then it won’t be indexed anymore.
Alternatively you can use tools such as:

Thank you for great link building tips. I agree that link building process should be well thought. Not all the sites are worth to get links from. I’ve been doing some SEO for our company’s website I must say I like the directory submission, article submission and blog commenting most. With the use of automatic submission tools, directory submission, article submission and blog commenting are made quick and easy. Yes, writing articles requires time and efforts, but it’s possible to hire a writer to create the articles if one is not good at writing.

Your readers should consider trying to get their own back links before going out an buying them. Buying/selling links is against Google’s T&Cs and can be penalised – so go carefully if you choose this route. Best regards > Joel

They are the main source man. You cant always depend on Link Exchange and Paid links and BTW, they are not so effective too.

Yes, Blog Commenting and forums are also a good way for backlinks building but you have to be very active in posting in forums since not every post-link gets count .

Backlinks are huge!! Taking the time to build them is important and I do mine myself. I have tried hiring others before but with varied mixed results. There are so many “seo experts” out there who claim to do link building for your site. Some do nothing while others use grey or black hat tactics to get them which makes you look bad.

There are some people called SEO experts themselves but they do nothing. And its true, that they wont take utmost care in back link building since its not theirs. We take care of things only when they belong to us.

Because PR is important, and PR is depend/based on how many link to your site, that’s why many people crazy about getting link as much as their can. Some of them is caught as link farming. So, i advice to get inbound link but don’t too much.
To get link i’m have a schedule, it is forum signature link and blogwalking. I even do posting about 1000post on do-follow forum and the result is, when i search for my blog on google, the result shown 400 result.

what command did you use to chk for in links by Google. If its link:domain.com, then it doesnt show all the inlinks for you. Use web master tools instead

Also I would like to say have consistency in getting inlinks. Dont suddenly rise 500 backlinks as it surely gets you as spam. Do 10 forum posts 10 blog coomments and one link exchange daily. Thats enough to get good backlinks.
