The only disadvantage that I see from Free Classifieds is that they are almost always NO FOLLOW. In some cities, the Craigslist ads are only up for 7 days, which isn’t enough time to get indexed in Google. Having to re-post every week is a big nuisance!

Ya I know that they are mostly No Follow But our main intention is to bring traffic from those sites not link building. And yes most of them needs pro membership so that your ads can be on their site for more time. As a free users mostly your ads are up for a week.

Another classified site is “Brownbook.net”, and another one in the Netherlands called “Hyves” (www.hyves.com).
Both have lots of links counted at my Google Webmaster Tools, as well as showing up on Yahoo Site Explorer links.
