make money online

As you might have heard the hot news throughout the 24hrs. on web that Microsoft and Yahoo had a deal. The deal was very complicated to understand; even I had to read 2-3 times to understand what’s gonna come in both sides through this deal. SearchEngineLand simplifies this deal to understand more properly.

But the Deal is not our problem; Our main thing as an internet marketer and blogger is to know Will this deal have any positive effect in the search traffic we are gaining?

Will the search traffic that is mostly gained by Google from most of the sites will now be coming from Bing or Yahoo.

Your qustion as stated above makes no sense when I read it. I presume you are asking if the Google/Yahoo! deal will affect search traffic? NO – because the deal is all about paid search and paid advertising – which has no affect on Google, especially on organic results. If anything it may help. Google will maintain their 65% or better market share while Microsoft continues to spin its wheels.

NO the deal took place between Microsoft and Yahoo few hours ago that’s why I am asking would the change in technology and other things in Yahoo-Microsoft search will help your blog traffic a lot or will the Google will be the main source of your search traffic…

Now there is no chance between Google and Yahoo deal as the Microsoft and Yahoo deal if I ma not wring is for 10yrs.

@Typhoon,
If google and yahoo deal happened (i know it is not possible now)
then it is not become profitable for serach engine user because
then Google become top search engine for very very long time.
And Microsoft can not do anything for beating Google search market.
and search engines are not giving too much effort in improving their
search result

I am not expecting any major changes in my blog traffic. I get such a small percentage of traffic from both of them that even if it doubled it would still not even be close to Google.

i don’t think so it affect because most of my blog traffic comes from Google.Microsoft and yahoo giving just view visits. And even after the change in technology I think Google will remain on top.

@rky, Agree with you. Who’s predict on 2004-2005 google come with adsense and suddenly beat yahoo? And even ms-yahoo merged, google will do something shocking again, i think :D

But ah, finally ms and yahoo get a deal, it’s too bad to see Yahoo always refuse ms offer because price per share matter. I’m also wonder how big ms-yahoo after merged.

@rky
so until now you just concentrate on google? It’s OK but i advice you to take attention to another SE.

Just know about this shocking info…!!! after waiting for a long time, yahoo already get a deal with ms.
About it will affect my traffic or no. I think it will affect (it’s imposibble if other say this deal will have no affect, hey, that 2 company is big) but i’m sure google will do something.
I just believe in google power.

Anyway, why this new post is not shown on your homepage in my computer?

@akira07,i said that it will not affect
because that 2 company are big but still they are not giving too much
competition to Google.Microsoft Bing perform very well but still need
some improvement. as you said You believe in Google power then
wait Google also comes with some great announcements.

I think yahoo is not used by many people…i don’t like yahoo…

Daily i get more than 150 + people through google and only 10 people through yahoo..

I have never trusted in yahoo results..they are outdated ..if i write a blog post and search that in google,i will be in top of search results ..it will get crawled by google more or less before 10 minutes ……

But it takes 10 days to get the results in yahoo…they don’t know to treat a blog with 250+ subscribers and 40 followers..

Google’s power has gone skyrapid..they can’t be beaten by yahoo or microsoft..

Only people who use microsoft product are new internet users who have been having live.com as their search engine default….it is not set by them…they are the default settings…

As long as they don’t beat Google Adsense, nothing’s going to happen.

in partnerships there are several types of causes and claims, I think it won’t give too much traffic as the technology is still poor.

I am seeing excellent results from Bing and Yahoo (both are in my top 10), so I wont be putting much thought into this deal and it’s impact on what I do.

I am truely not sure about this venture, the market is dominated by a huge player and the 2 smaller players are uniting. Variety is the spice of life isn’t it?

Yahoo conversion rate is better than Google. I think, this deal would affect PPC marketing.

Overall, I think it is all for the better for webmasters generally. That means advertising will be considerably cheaper and Google won’t have AS much authority has they once did, but nonetheless, I want Google to win because simplicity is the best.
