Hey Readers! From today onwards till 31st July, this blog will be having “Commenting Idol” contest that means if you are in the top commentator list which is placed at the right side of my blog at the end of 31st July then you can have a chance to win some prizes.

(Note to My friends: The launch time got delayed by few hrs. as the banner for this contest was being made at that time but nevertheless the contest is now launched.)

Prepare yourself for an avalanche of spam comments my friend. Hope you have captcha activated as well. Had to strip my blog of the nofollow free, keyword luv and commentluv plugins. It might help if you created some form of rule for commentators to follow. I must say it’s a good way of getting people to stay on your site for a longer period. It’s a Great Idea and I might take a hint and also implement it on my blog. I’ll join in the fun. Hopefully I can find posts I can contribute meaningfully to though your lack of full rss feeds might make that difficult as well.

Thanks for recommending about the CAPTCHA thing. But I am not seeing any flood of spam comments right now so I won’t be activating that plugin for now. But if i see something bad happening then I will surely do it.

@Typhoon, Yep, I didn’t see any spam comments around either. If the spam do starts flooding in, you may just consider activating comment moderation rather than CAPTCHA :)

Yup, I know about that thing. Actually what happened last night that I wanted to actually post the article on 4th July so I had to click the “Save Draft” button but mistakenly I pressed “Publish: button.So after that I realized the mistake and again made it to draft as I still wanted to make some changes in that article. @Kwax, It’s not late at all, just make comment schedule per day. For example, you can do 1 hour commentng and i believe you will get placed on top commentator rank

So, why you’re not around on current contest :D

Yes the contest is great. But there is a question :
Is more prize mean more great?

It’s because a fact :
- There is only 2-3 serious participant when the prize is $20, now the prize $180 and it’s attract a lot of people to seriously compete
- There is only 90 comment needed when the prize is $20, but now 90 is should created on 2-3 days to keep our position safe.
- There is only 58 comment here, but for current contest when the prize is $180, first 5 days is enough to bring 150+ comment.

Haha just for nostalgia, so i post on here. Well, commenting idol 1 is succesful. But i’m sure current commenting idol 2 is more of it, one proof is –> this article (commenting idol 1) is only get 57 comment.
On first 5 days commenting idol 2 post, it’s already bring 150+ comment (3 increasement).
