I’m using TwitterLink instead of WP-Twittip ID. I believe that both plugins have the same purpose but the only difference is that TwitterLink is free.

I have only tried a twitter plug-in which could automatically tweet. In that way, I could be able to update my status everyday even if I forgot to log-in to my Twitter. But I like the details of Tweetmeme, which you have suggested, so I am going to check it out to see if it will work for me.

Twittar is new to me. Maybe we are moving to a stage where Twitter, FB and G+ DP’s would become our identity instead of Gravatars.
