Keep in mind that reading emails from your mobile phone is not very pleasant compared to reading them on a big screen. So nobody likes to read huge amounts of information when looking at the small display of their mobile phones. Try to keep your offers or promotions simple and short so that you have the readers’ attention all the way to the end of your message. At the end of the day who would read 5 pages long email about your new SEO tool on a mobile phone?
2. Check Before Sending
Testing is the best way to succeed. While it might be impossible to check how your messages would look on every mobile phone in the world, you can still check for most of them. Make sure your emails are visible and nice to read on a lot of mobile phones so the readers don’t have to struggle in order to read your message. However, it will not be very good for them to click on the link and be taken to a web page that only looks good on the big screen and it is even hard to load from a mobile device. It would be great if you can make a mobile friendly version of your website, but if you can’t, at least make the landing pages you send links to mobile friendly.
These 3 tips should come in handy when doing a huge email marketing campaign. Remember that SEO is not all about the search engines. At the end of the day you do it for the people so why not send emails to everybody in your mailing list and engage them directly?
This is certainly a great way to reach your present customers, remind the past ones that you are still there and tell the potential ones why they should choose you.
However, here comes the tricky part – avoid sending too many e-mails. Most of the people do not like to receive more than 1 e-mail from a website they had subscribed to, so if you start sending them for example 3-4 every day, they are more likely to stop reading them and also unsubscribe from your mailing list. There is even a chance to flag your website as spam, but this is likely to happen if there is no useful information contained in your messages.
Now you are ready to start your e-mail campaign and take the best of it, but remember not to overuse it.

Mobile-friendly versions of your website are a must! Anywhere you go nowadays, what are people doing? Most of them (unless they’re driving, let’s hope!) are fooling around on their iPhones, iPads, iPods, Blackberries, texting on their flip phones (for the less smart phone inclined).
