linkedin is a ignored kind of social networking sites, people hardly use it to drive traffic but its has a good potential. Thanks for such wonderful tips

I have had a lot of success with Linkined and driving traffic. The first step is to have valuable content to push out every day or week. Next, you need to publish on your business page, then share directly into your groups from their. I consistent;y receive a mass amount of hits per day from content shared into my groups.

We have had great success with posting calls to action on our LinkedIn profiles or in a group discussion to direct traffic back to our web site for specific information – whitepaper, 10 components of a great web site, sample network health review report, etc.

Using Linked in is one prong in a multi-pronged strategy to increase traffic. I get modest amounts from there, but that’s better than nothing!

I did not know that #5 existed! I enjoy learning new tricks everyday. Question, i see that #4 calls for creating a niche group, but what about joining an already existing group? Wouldn’t this go along the lines of #2 – creating the network?

I’ve started to post our blogs over on the company page of linkedin….not getting too much activity yet, but our industry isn’t about fluffy puppies and butterflies. GPS tracking….it’s hard to even get our customers to go and follow us on social media, because some of their employees are unaware they are being tracked. Now, this isn’t illegal, when the business owner actually has ownership of the vehicles his employees are driving, but some still keep it to themselves. At any rate, I will take your tips to heart and see how it works for us! Thank you.
