Each and everyone who owns a blog definitely wants to build an audience towards the brand of their own. And of course, we want to spread it and have it exposed to as much people as possible. Since millions of new blogs are created every day, it’s an uphill battle for us, bloggers to spread our own and stand out from the rest.

But we should never get worried. Obviously most of the blogs are just junk blogs, either blogs who are just created for SEO benefits or blogs that are created by inexperienced bloggers. Overall we still have a good chance of getting recognized, acquiring new readers and reaping good benefits for spreading our brand.

Since the beginning of time there has always been an evil to match every good. Hercules had Hades, Mufasa had Scar, and of course ….. Luke Skywalker had Darth Vader. Now I’m sure you’ve heard the quote “History Repeats Itself“, well that’s exactly the case for bloggers.

“For every great blog out there, there is a spammer just waiting to pounce on it.”

Well luckily for bloggers, we can actually use spam as a weapon against itself. The one major flaw to spam is that it is VERY easy to spot. Just like anyone in life who is a fake, your natural human instinct can figure them out really quick. So just by being considerate, engaging, and “real”, we can actually stand out of the crowd and get some serious exposure.

Every weekend in my neighborhood – not far from where I reside – 3 boys usually practice playing the saxophone and a trumpet. I could tell they were not great players. The horrid sounds that came out from the ends of the instruments could cause a pregnant woman to have a miscarriage. 😆

Once, as I was passing by, I asked them playfully who was punishing them and teased them that their mouth and chicks would one day remain swollen and never go back to shape as they kept playing the instruments. We all laughed over it and slowly became quite close …

When I started my blog a few months back, I was very excited. At last, my passion for writing will finally have an outlet; I can now share my work with the world. Learning all the technicalities of starting a blog, it was all very easy. Until I came to the part about posting and letting my blog be known in the blogosphere. Nothing has prepared me for the struggle which I come to face. I thought having all the know-how is enough; but how wrong was I.

It has then dawned on me that to be a successful blogger I must first be in tune with myself to deal with challenges inherent its pursuit. Like every newbie, I relied on the advice of top bloggers but it’s not enough. And now I will share what I’ve learned from my experience.

Web designers worked hard to make their pages load faster in those days. Now, faster hardware and modern technology have made a lot of us casual about speed.

Page Speed – the speed at which your website loads – isn’t currently a major factor in search, but Google has talked about adding it to the algorithm. Where Google leads, Yahoo and bing will follow. But even without being included in ranking algorithm, your speed can have effects on search if other webmasters choose to link to someone faster instead of you.
