If you’re able to write unique content, then everything else will be easy for you, however using your creativity to generate unique content isn’t enough to drive traffic to your blog, many bloggers write unique articles in their blogs but they don’t receive much traffic back. I’m listing below some points and tips which I hope they’ll help you.

Find The Hungry Crowd:
It’s about finding a hot topic for you blog. Blogging about something which few people are interested in won’t help you to receive much traffic to your blog. See what people are interested in nowadays, and write about it.

Understand Your Readers:
The more you know your readers, the more easy you can pick a good topic. Ask yourself why the readers are reading what you’re writing and focus on it.

Give Your Article an Objective:
Meaning the purpose of the article. Your readers should reach some goal after reading your article.

Explode Your Creativity:
Create something that will attract people’s attention and make them do what you want them to do by asking yourself what’s new and unique in this article.

Ask Your Readers What Do They Want:
Take the chance to ask your readers what they would like to read on your blog, it somehow creates a kind of friendship with your readers and they will always give you ideas on what to blog about, which is good.

Learn from Feedback:
If you write something interesting, your readers will definitely leave a feedback for you, either in comments or Twitter… Wherever. Learn from their feedbacks and mix it with your article to produce a high quality content.

I like this point “Give Your Article an Objective”. Even after Panda, there is a still a wealth of mindless rehashed content floating around on the net — its just disguised a whole lot better now.

What separates the flash from the trash, however, is high-quality content that’ll actually get a point across, or offer something the reader has never seen. You’ll know it when you see it.

Great content informs, entertains, updates, sells, excites, and serves its intended purpose. Now if that purpose is solely traffic generation and sales, etc. then you could have a problem.

Cheers 🙂

Content is known as King and it’s true too for driving good traffic. These are some factors on which one should pay attention for making the content very useful.

I still believe that content is king. Majority of the bloggers I know has the same perspective also. Content is what drives your blog to the limits, but I also think that, a good content is always best with a supporting strategy. It’s the thing that will engage readers to visit your blog and read it like there’s no tomorrow (if you get what I mean here).

Content is King but content without good traffic can be a waste of time. i think marketing is important to help content which can later put some money in your pulse.

The content definitely is the king. Without the unique and original content your website will be unable to gain the rating. the first step should focus on the efforts of creating a relevant content on your website so as to gain the attention of the traffic to your site. after that you can use the SEO and SMO to do marketing of your site on social media.

Agree with the previous comment. Quality, engaging content is #2. Backlinks and SEO is #1. Proof: Google anything and look at the repetitive worthless content you find on page 1. How did they get on page 1? Lots of backlinks from other highly ranked sites. Keep diving down pages 2,3 and 4 and you might find someone with the cure for cancer – but he has no backlinks! Old offline saying: you can build the best mousetrap in the world and that does not mean anyone will beat a path to your door
