In order to drive more organic traffic to your blog, you need to plan first before starting your site or blog, you need to know how to build a profitable niche blog. You need to do keyword research on various keywords, there is actually many keyword tools out there that help you do the works, one of the popular keyword tool would be Google Adwords Keyword Tool.
This keyword tool shows you the popularity of the keyword, competition, estimated CPC rate, and etc. This will generate a list of keywords or phrases that contain your niche and will also show you approximately how many people search for each word or phrase as well.
Then you need to decide which keyword would be the most profitable by determining which keyword has the least amount of competitors, so that you can outrank them easily and get into Top 10 in search engine result.
Choosing a good niche topic to base your website around is one of the most important aspects of driving organic traffic off of your articles. This will give you a foundation to build from and you can target one general audience with a pack of keywords that they are most likely to be searching for.
If you write a specific topic in a blog, when a new visitor approaches to your blog and find that your blog has a lot of relevant articles, most probably they will come back to read other articles again. This way, even though you are targeting one specific subject, you will be sure to interest a wide variety of people in that one niche. They may also find other pages that interest them, which will keep them returning to your site to learn new information about the niche subject. I’ve created few niche blogs and all the blogs work quite well in term of the traffic and earning.
If there is a couple of keywords in the result, then you have to pick the keyword that you feel would be easiest to start with and can be producing unique content non-stop. Once you’ve built the blog for few days and the blog starts to generate some revenue, then you can start to pick another keyword which is your 2nd choice and do the same steps as the first blog.
So you just need to repeat the same procedures over and over again, as long as you choose the right keyword, I believe that you can make a passive income every month just from your online business.

“In order to drive more organic traffic to your blog, you need to plan first…..” I could not agree with that statement more! Way too many “experts” just give a list of what to talk about that people buying into these “systems” have no idea how to work.
There are few, if any and none come immediately to my mind, easier ways of getting that highly coveted organic traffic. And $4.95 a month at most hosting companies is far cheaper than the $100’s many spend to get their AdWord campaigns going!

Doing a keyword research is essential before chosing a niche and buying a domain.
There are many other keyword tools apart Google’s Adwords, like Wordtracker and the popular Micro Niche Finderr which Rocks!

Lee, you have given an excellent piece of information, but my problem is that I am getting continous decrease in number of visitors to my blog and the revenue for the last thirty days is reduced to half and my problem is how to increase it.
This is a pretty good post, more in depth keyword research strategies would have been more helpful but overall this is the right plan of action in a nutshell. I agree with the poster above who said that this is really important to learn but that learning to take action is the number 1 thing to learn in order to have any success online.

Very Informative Post! Niche Blog and websites ARE a great way to make money online. The thing is it takes time. People think they will get rich overnight, and the truth is it will take 6-12 months to start making more than just coffee money.
Excellent information and in my opinion you can make money if you do hard work and you provide regular update to your viewers.
You are absolutely right – from my own experience I can tell that the right choice of keywords is probably the most crucial factor for asuccessful niche blog. Ideally you should find some buyer keywords, they should not be too competitive and thay should also provide a minimum amount of traffic.
