This is a guest post by Tushar Agarwal from BloggersPassion.
Content is the most important thing for a blog. Although, some may argue that promotion is as important but you cannot ignore the good content in your blog.
Writing good, quality posts everyday is very difficult for a blogger and those who are regular bloggers and write everyday, it’s very difficult to keep adding fresh content to their blog. After all, ideas did not come in a single click.
Part time bloggers could still manage it because of low posting frequency but for daily bloggers, make sure that you are writing high quality content. You need to do your homework and research well and should always be ready with the next 15 posts ideas
Here, I am emphasizing on getting content ideas. Many bloggers make a great start, write for 6 months, touches Alexa rank of 100,000 become popular in the blogosphere and then disappears.
Reason– He did not know what to write next!?! From where, he could get new blog post ideas. And this did not happen only with new bloggers only. Experienced bloggers also face this situation but, as I say, they are experienced enough to come out of this situation. And that’s one of the top reasons why they still exist in blogosphere.

I too faced this situation in my early days but with time, I have marked some places to search for new ideas. Here are some places to look for new blog post ideas:
1. Google
There is nothing like this search engine giant. And this is probably the easiest (read lazy) and convenient way. All you need to do is to open Google homepage, start typing few words relevant to blog niche and you will see some auto- completes (try it now). They appear in the order in which the number of hits made for them. Google gives you idea and also the chances that will it be searched enough or not.
2. Comments On Your Posts
I have used this method very effectively. Many posts of mine are the result of the commentators at my blog. They raise some point in comments which I find important enough to be written as a post and BINGO!!!
3. Forums
Heavy traffic forums like DigiPoint are a great place to look at for a post idea. Search the forum for topics and questions which you feel you can reply to. Write that article in the blog and leave a link on the forum. This is a great way to write a post and you can expect lot of traffic.
4. Yahoo! Answers
I used this method when I started blogging but now I do not get enough time for this activity. Look for the questions from your niche and write a related post and you can also post the link there. The traffic will be well above your expectations.
5. Blog Archives
This might not be a completely honest way but still, very good. Just visit a random blog from your niche and look at the articles posted in past. Remember, just read the title and nothing else or you might be tempted to copy them which annoy Google like nothing. So, read the title and write your opinion. One of the most effective but as I said not a completely honest way.
Conclusion
No doubt, writing content is tough but getting the idea for the content is tougher. I always look at the above places for my next post and they never disappoint too. Due to lack of time, I do not use Forums and Yahoo Answers too much but the other three have always been the sure shots methods for me and I am damn sure, they will work for you too.
Nice suggestions Tushar. I pretty much get idea from all over the web. It’s funny because an idea can come at anytime and it’s never specific to one place in general.

Forums are one of my favorite because there are huge amounts of questions being asked at all times. You see them pop up over and over again which gives you the perfect opportunity to write a post specifically tailored to that question.

Great tips – I utilize most of these in my business. I would also say using RSS feeds and Google alerts to monitor news and popular topics in your niche is another great way to get post ideas.
Reacting to hot topics can mean more visitors as your on the pulse of what others are discussing, and if you take a unique viewpoint on a popular topic you’ll get even more traffic and attention from your post
