Spend some time browsing some of the popular blogs in your niche and make a list of bloggers and website owners contributing guest posts there. Contact all guest bloggers and invite them for guest blogging on your blog. If you have decent blog, there is a good chance that lots of people will respond positively to your invitation.
2. Create Submit Post Section
Create a “Submit Post Section” on your blog indicating your blog readers the opportunity to write guest posts on your blog. You should mention some basic details like the kind of content you accept, words length, link policy, how to contact you etc. on that page.
3. Holding Contests
You can get lots of targeted outputs by holding contests and giving away stuffs that matters. You can think of creating a guest blogging contest on your blog, which will motivate lots of guest bloggers to write for your blog.
I have been running a guest blogging contest on my blog, which looks a great success to me looking the kind of response I’m getting from other bloggers and website owners in the form of guest posts. So you can repeat the same kind of success on your blog doing a similar contest.
4. Inviting Old Guest Bloggers to Contribute More
If your blog has already got some guest posts published from other bloggers. Then why not generate a list of all guest bloggers and invite them to submit further guest posts on your blog. Create threads on MyBlogGuest (a site completely dedicated to guest blogging), Digitalpoint Forum, SitePoint, Warrior Forum kind of discussion forums created around webmasters, SEO and blogging communities. Lots of guest bloggers browse these discussion forums as a way to find blogs where they can submit their guest posts. I couldn’t agree w/ this one more. There are sooo many positive benefits to guest blogging that it behooves all bloggers to do at least some guest posting.
I have had mixed responses re. guest blog posts. Some people have been very offended when I’ve asked to guest post, others have been positive and its worked well for both our blogs.

I agree, informative guest post is very useful and can boost your blog.I also do guest posts and get brilliant results from this method but quality matter.
There are some bloggers who are fond of being a guest blogger to another site. I just read a post on how a blogger was encouraged to write a guest post. All it takes is a friendly email and you’re good to go. Start making connections to other bloggers and be a guest blogger yourself.
How about showing your blog/site stats? traffic, PR, etc…I guess this will attract more guest bloggers.
The most successful technique is to manage Guest Blogging Contest and you will see new faces with quality contents. Getting advice from the older bloggers is a good way to start your learning.
Guest blogging is great but I’m finding that too many trying to abuse it. I reject quite a few posts on my blog as irrelevant to my main topic and what is even worth – people who submit the posts often fail to read a VERY short guidelines I specify to ensure acceptance.
One thing you can do to encourage other bloggers to do a blog post for you is to get to know them. Bloggers only blog for someone they know. Try to get more connections and build a strong foundation.
