Yeah, you are absolutely right. I have been using PLR articles from a long time from my marketing needs and they worked really good. Converting the PLR into video or audio (podcasts) and submitting to video or podcast sites is really cool thing to distribute our content and get lots of free traffic.
Syndication does wonders for building backlinks and getting found online; the cool part is that there are programs that help out with this and I know that Camtasia even lets you setup to record power point presentations which could streamline the process!
Plr products are a great way to add content to your site, especially if it is a new site you want fresh content. Of course it requires some work to edit it and make it seem unique because you don’t want to have duplicate content on your site

Failing to edit the PLR articles is the biggest reason why people mess up with them; it’s sort of a no-brainer, ya know? People really should be using them as a foundation for work rather than just hitting submit and hoping for the best – add in their own story to the post to really make it unique but also save them time.
What you said is right, but generally search engines do not rank the PLR content higher. It is not considered as plagiarised but at last, it’s duplicate!

That’s where editing really comes into play Akshay. PLR is really about just saving the larger portion of time writing and needing to do research in place of taking about 5 – 10 minutes doing the core edits that changes it up so it is unique to search engines. Also, it’s also less about SEO and more about creating great content for community which can have a much stronger impact especially when they keep coming back and share it on social media 🙂

Definitely. There are far too many people out to “game” people online and the best way to avoid this is to create something wildly epic and unique. You can certainly use PLR to make up a good base of information but it still requires you to bring something fresh to the content to ensure that the end-user is going to get quality information that’s from one’s own knowledge, ya know? I’d use PLR to help get a product started but always make sure to include my own experiences with what I’m teaching that way it’s totally unique.

While I’ve never personally delved into PLR products, I do have friends who have had success with it. It is definitely possible to do so. Just give it time and gain as much experience as you can, and over time you will make it work!
