Get 10X Traffic by Content Distribution Method

by Sushant Risodkar · 89 comments

Content distribution is one of the very best way to get laser targeted traffic coming to your website. Plus, it’s one of the best way to get notice online and quickly they become an authority in your market. I also call this method ‘The 10X Process’ by which you can get 10 times more exposure by converting your single article into different formats and then distributing it to the respected places.

Here is an Step-by-Step Process of this Method:

  1. First, you have to write an article and submit it top 10-20 Article directories like ezine, articlesbase etc. or you can post it to your blog or guest post to another blog. There many ways to syndicate your article. So you have to simply write an article and choose your distribution points as stated above.
  2. Next, you have to convert your article into a Podcast and submit it top Podcast directories like podcastalley.com .
  3. Then, you have to convert your article into a Press Release if possible.
  4. Once you have done that, you have to convert your article into a Step-by-Step tutorial(if applicable) and submit it to sites like ehow.com and tutorialized.com .
  5. Then you have to convert your article into a PowerPoint Presentation and submit it to sites like Slideshare.net .
  6. After that, you have to convert your article into a Video and submit it top Video Sharing sites like YouTube and Vimeo.
  7. Then you have to convert your article to PDF format and submit it to places like scribd.com and freeiq.com
  8. You will also be converting your article into an EXE file so that you can submit it top Software directories.
  9. Then you have to convert your article into a Widget with the help of like WidgetBox.com which then can be placed at facebook profile or Myspace or Google Widget Directory etc.
  10. And Finally you have to combine your article, video, podcast, press release, power point presentation, Tutorial, EXE file, PDF file and Widget into a Customized RSS feed so then it could be submitted to top RSS directories which will ensure that all of your content gets indexed in Google plus it would be building 100’s of backlinks for your website.

By transforming your content into multiple formats and syndicating it to a wide variety of content distributing points you can quickly multiply your traffic, backlinks and exposure well beyond a traditional article.

I hope you liked reading the article. If you have any queries or anything you want to ask/say related to this article then just the comment box is open for you buddy 🙂

Thats cool. I must say that in SEO point of view, submitting in article directories and giving press releases are wondrful strategies. That makes u sufficient traffic and visitors from all over the world. These will be really helpful if you are new to blogging but one who can write efficiently by nature. Take utmost care when writing to article directories or guest blogging, as they make or break ur future.

Great Steps actually but please i need to understand how to do steps 2,3 and 4 coz am little confused about it .
Making PowerPoint Presentation, Video, PDF easy but converting articles like in steps 2,3 and 4 are little bit harder as i didn’t try it before .

There is nothing tough doing that. Converting into podcast means converting your article to a listenable mp3 file. You can just google to find software’s for it.

There are many Press Release websites which you can find googling and there you can put information about any new launch or up-gradation of any of your service/products etc.

And Step by Step articles means, breaking your article and presenting in stepwise form. like if you have an article related to Yoga, in which you have written like “For doing this position, take your left hand up and both the legs up.” You can convert it into step form like this-

Step1: Put You Hands Up..
Step2: Put Your Legs Up…etc.

I hope you got the help..

I love that idea also. Well but still confuse about it. I’m already try to search on google, but what i find about podcast is : audio blog.

What i confuse about podcast is :
Is it simply just by uploading audio just like mp3 and tell people to download it. Or, audio which played automatically on blog (embedded)?

I think the former one fits best. Training people by audios. Its just audio version of screen cast.

First time to know about this Carnival lady but sure it will help much with spreading blog traffic , Hope am not wrong with this ???

akira07 December 10, 2009 at 3:22 am

On the FAQ page, i find “Blog Carnivals typically collect together links pointing to blog articles on a particular topic”. So, if you listed on there, you will get link. Get link = more exposure = of course more traffic.
So, your opinion is right 🙂

Wow. I have never seen this method explained before, but it sounds like it’s very powerful. I’m relatively new to blogging so I’ll need to come back to this post frequently to review this plan and to learn new smart blogging tactics.

You clearly know what you’re talking about!

Do we run the risk of being penalized with duplicate content by following these techniques? Maybe if we tweak the article a bit each time we convert it we can bypass any dup. content penalty??? Regardless, I like the method; you did a great job explaining how to do it.

Typhoon January 4, 2010 at 4:23 pm

You may rewrite the article on every new distribution if you are feeling the risk of duplicate content penalty.

What a fantastic article. I will have to try at least a few of these ideas. Not so sure about podcasts but some of the others look really good. Thanks for sharing.
