I think I might have caught your attention with that Title which was my plan :-/
Those who do not blog completely because they want to earn some extra money often thinks: “Why the hell my blogs revenue so low?” Many people who think that blogs simply can not generate much money. They are absolutely wrong! Blog can generate you the same amount of money if not more compared to any other website. Now I am talking about PPC (Pay per click) sources of revenue such as Google-Adsense here.
The main thing I have noticed is that people tend to concentrate on wider markets. If you are running a personal diary kind of blog in which you talk about your dreams and other gossips around the world; the chances are that there are thousands of similar blogs around. The more competition you have, the harder it will be for you to make some cash.
Instead try concentrating on smaller markets also known as niche markets. Not only it will be easier for you to develop the traffic, the CPC (Cost per click) should also be higher due to advertisers demand exceeding publishers supply.
Secondly you need to have a unique selling point. You need to give your readers something that nobody else does. This should really help you get returning visitors.
Finally it’s the ads themselves. You should channel your ads. By this you will be able to measure your various ad block’s performance. One of the most important things is to Keep experimenting. Try different ad formats, colours and positioning. Run your setup for a few weeks, note the performance and try something different. Even if you think you have found the optimum ad setup keep on trying to improve it. In most cases you can always tweak something to make your ad performance much better than earlier.
I hope you might have got your answer whenever you think like “Why the hell my blogs revenue so low?”
Ya. It is good to maintain Channels to find the best serving ads which yield more money. I am using it always

Although I do not use PPC or Ad-Sense, it would be a valuable resource for new blogs wanting to increase their short-term traffic.
That’s a good suggestion… You should definitely consider different channels once in a while as trends change. Also, the filtering is a nice step up 🙂
I can honestly say that my site is not one to make money, it offers a few details about this and that. I don’t want to make millions, that is not why set up my site. I would just like to cover my hosting payments, that’s about it.
My site is my surname and it’s kind of lame in a way, but I want my family to start blogging. They must stick to the times.
Once I am comfortable with what I have done with my site then I will venture into a niche and start my long term goals. For now, it’s just playing around and testing things on my site.
Great post and great blog. I would recommend OIO publisher to be used to increase the blog revenue through ads.
Hi Harish,
Ya OIO publisher makes it very easy to sell ads. But I don’t try it now because I want to communicate with the advertiser every time they purchase ad places on my blog.
Hi Sushant,

I can say 2 of my blogs are serving a niche market and has a good CPC. My problem for these blogs is actually how to get more traffic. Since the topics are so specific, not everyone is going to be interested in it.

if my blog have a good niche and good posting so what problem if my blog still have revenue so low?
Thank you.
I do intend to make money from my blog by selling a product. I will release and sell a product before I ever put ads up.
Right now, I am just focusing on creating my community. Once that is going well, I think my next step will be to release some of those paid products, and just keep moving on from there.

In my opinion use google keyword tools for finding good keyword
then write article and use some good keyword that you select but be genuine in writing.Keep that thing in your mind you are writing for people not for search engine.
In this way your revenue increase dramatically.
Nice article bro.
