Freelance marketplace is a good facility for all those skilled persons that can not get job in their locality and they get smart earning through these marketplaces but it is growing trend for these marketplaces that many of the buyers demand quality work at very cheap rate that sometimes becomes impossible for the provider.
Freelancer.com has dished up a lot of rights to the buyers and some buyers use that right for threat.Some buyers become annoy with the service providers with no reason and just write ” Incomplete Project” in their profile that ruins their profile. Actually that buyers want out of scope work.

I have some kind of experience in Digital Forum and oDesk (it is surprising oDesk is not listed here; it is one of the biggies). All I can say that if you are a technical person like a programmer or a web designer or a mobile app person, etc they are really good. And good people command excellent rates also. But content providers is an area of huge competition. Most new people under cut their rates very highly to get orders and once they have built a reputation they can increase their rates. It is just like building any other online business. Another option is that there are content providing companies that do the arbitrage business. That is, they get the orders to provide articles and they in turn, outsource it to other new people and give them a lesser rate making a profit. For the new people who are desperate to make money online, this is a good area for experience as well as making some decent money. Once you get experience and good ratings, you can branch out on your own or even create your own content providing company
