Make Money Online by bidding on projects at Freelance Marketplaces

Freelance marketplaces (also known as outsourcing marketplaces) are such websites that match buyers and sellers of internet-provided services.

Freelance marketplaces are changing the ways of doing business and are growing at a rapid rate. These freelance marketplaces have immense potential, both for buyers and suppliers, this has been possible mainly due to their smooth transaction processes and global reach. These marketplaces have makes it easy for searching freelance jobs to make money online.

The buyers here are not consumers, they are actually like “businessman” who bid for the projects or stuff which the “seller” is asking for. These marketplace uses its potential for the benefits of buyers and sellers. It gives them instant access to the global audience.

Benefits to the Buyers:

A freelance marketplace removes all the geographical barriers and buyers get access to a number of new suppliers.

  • Access to user friendly and smooth online transaction processing lowers the transaction costs and saves time.
  • Buyers can compare the products and services offered on a marketplace for efficient purchasing decisions.
  • Delivery tracking is also easier apart from assurance of quality by established freelance marketplaces having their own brand value.

Benefits to the Suppliers(Bidder) :

  • When a supplier does business locally, his market is limited. A freelance marketplace gives an opportunity to do business globally and explore new markets.
  • Online sales processing minimizes the need of other human and material resources thereby reducing overhead costs in a significant manner.
  • Apart from product listings, freelance portals also include many other features such as discussion groups, latest industry news, and other business oriented information that can be used by the companies to expand their business.

According to me, these could be the best marketplaces where you start searching for freelance jobs immediately and start making money online.

  1. Freelance marketplace is a good facility for all those skilled persons that can not get job in their locality and they get smart earning through these marketplaces but it is growing trend for these marketplaces that many of the buyers demand quality work at very cheap rate that sometimes becomes impossible for the provider.

Freelancer.com has dished up a lot of rights to the buyers and some buyers use that right for threat. Some buyers become annoy with the service providers with no reason and just write ” Incomplete Project” in their profile that ruins their profile. Actually that buyers want out of scope work.

  2. Freelancing is good job but this cannot be adopted the whole life as buyers and providers belongs to different time zones so if a freelancer works till very late night and do not go for rest, he will not a proper health

  3. Another website very useful is called reviewme.com and is very useful if you are blogger or advertiser and you need to promote a thing or you need some money. Freelancing is a good opportunity to win some money if you are dedicated to your job.

  4. So let me get this straight, if you need work doing and you want to outsource it, you go onto sites like these and people bid to work for you and earn money? Sounds good, although not quite sure how the bidding bit would work.

  5. I have had much success with freelancing networks and recommend everyone give them a try. They don’t work for everyone but you won’t know until you try. Great article, thank you!

  6. I have some kind of experience in Digital Forum and oDesk (it is surprising oDesk is not listed here; it is one of the biggies). All I can say that if you are a technical person like a programmer or a web designer or a mobile app person, etc they are really good. And good people command excellent rates also. But content providers is an area of huge competition. Most new people under cut their rates very highly to get orders and once they have built a reputation they can increase their rates. It is just like building any other online business. Another option is that there are content providing companies that do the arbitrage business. That is, they get the orders to provide articles and they in turn, outsource it to other new people and give them a lesser rate making a profit. For the new people who are desperate to make money online, this is a good area for experience as well as making some decent money. Once you get experience and good ratings, you can branch out on your own or even create your own content providing company

  7. Oooppsss…. Looks like I’ve been missing a lot of freelance sites. I only tried oDesk and Freelancer.com. Freelancing works best if you would like to take advantage of your time doing what you like. You won’t have a boss staring at you while working and you can take a break whenever you want to. 🙂

  8. I like Freelance Marketplaces very much. They give a great chance to make money online easily. Everything is smooth to perform at these marketplaces.

Well like you, My favorite marketplace is also GetaFreelancer. It’s damn gr8.

  9. One advantage of these freelance marketplaces, is that it is a market for “ready buyers”. People seeking services are willing to pay and don’t lose time. That’s important for people providing services online, to avoid people who do not have the money to hire.

  10. I have used services section of digital point forums and it had helped me a lot. It is the best way for me to sell my services and it also has a huge hungry customers waiting for your services. After it, I recommend freelancer.com
