Great news for WordPress users that WordPress 2.8.1 is now available for the download. So update or download it for your blog as soon as possible to enjoy the wordpress more properly.
This release of wordpress includes many bug fixes & security updates, including an important one that affects only few plugins (more about it here).
The update was very quick and took hardly 5sec. But the sad thing is that, the BlogRoll have disappeared from my blog due to this update. I am searching for the reasons and will make that thing work asap.
Update: The BlogRoll widget got deleted automatically. Don’t know why. But I have added it again.
I don’t use Word Press. I tried it and couldn’t figure it out. I don’t think I had a very good host and so was totally lost. But this upgrade looks good. Glad you got your blogroll back on your blog.

The upgrade went ok but I am now facing few problems like I am not able to edit the comments. Plus not able to add tags to my post.
Man that was fast. I just upgraded to 2.8 last week. I guess I should update again or maybe I should wait until next month when 2.8.2 comes out,

i havent updated my wordpress to this latest. but will upgrade it on one of my blog first and then if no probs occur then will upgrade other blogs as well.
