Google awards SiteLinks to my blog Hurray!

I was just checking my Google Webmasters Account for this blog and I was amazed to see that Google have awarded my blog SiteLinks which are shown below search results.

What are SiteLinks?

SiteLinks are a collection of links, automatically chosen by Google’s algorithm, which appears below the google search result of website, linking to important pages of your website. It’s just like shortcuts to the important pages of the website/blog. They are randomly chosen, although you can block any link from appearing.

What in My Case?

In my case the SiteLinks are shown when you search google for “smart bloggerz” or “Smart Bloggerz”. Google is currently showing 4 SiteLinks which are linked to following articles:

Here are some of the screenshot of this great thing:

A great article describing why really the sitelinks appears:  Google Sitelinks: The Ultimate FAQ.

How about yours, folks? Have links on your website/blog been shown in Google search results as SiteLinks yet? Let me know.

  1. What the the Google criteria to choose a site link for any website? There are only few websites which are shown through the site links into Google free search results. There must be some kinda target which a web master to achieve for Google site links, for example certain PR or domain age.

  2. Congrats dude. I got mine too in March for the search term Island Crisis . Btw you can also control which one you wanna show in your Google Webmaster Acc. Try it.

  3. Congrats dude! That’s meaning that your blog is cool to be rewarded. 🙂

Between, I think this can be done by doing something else, plugin or whatever coding? I’ve seen someone explained about this but I forgot where was it.

    Regards,
