When your blog is gaining success many people knock at doors asking to sell it to them. Same happened to me when Mr.X(I don’t want to Disclose it) told me that he is interested in purchasing SmartBloggerz.com
He stated that he is willing to pay anywhere between $7,500 – $18,000 for this blog which I actually didn’t ever realized that this blog price is set so high. He told me that the process of acquiring the blog will be made from escrow service like flippa or any else which I preferred.
But I clearly Told Him that, “Sorry But This Blog Is Not For Sale for Few Years…”
I am not willing to sell this blog at this point of time because I am currently highly addictive to blogging and can’t let my blog go like this on which I have worked hard for so many months to build it up.
One clear reason which I gave to him with honesty that, I am not selling this blog because it’s getting improved greatly for many strong keywords on search engines whose benefits I really want to experience.
So, guys this Blog is not going for Sale even if someone gives me million dollar which probably no one will give ;0
What do you think? Did I took the right step of not selling this blog? What will you do in case someone want to buy your important blog? Will you give it away for the moola’s the buyer is offering?

I definitely think you made the right move bro. You are having so much fun doing what you love and your blog is gaining popularity and a steady fan base. Plus as you said you are working hard on the SEO aspect, as many of us are. If you keep at it you can at least sell the blog in later years for much more and at the same time have enough connections and expertise to continue on to another blog.
Wow, so much for the blog. Well, I guess if you hold on a bit longer then it will be worth more. It must of been a nice feeling to be given an offer, made you think twice about it.
Glad you not selling it, would miss your posts.

Ya, I know about it because I am working on many ways to get onto page 1 for “make money online” and it’s variants…I tried Adsense but it again banned me saying that they found something unusual which I really hate one of the thing in Google Adsense.
Also, Bidvertiser don’t have much potential advertisers and many times I see the ad boxes empty. Will look on trying it again and will surely read that review.

Yes i think it is really a correct step that you took, later on you will be able to earn that much in a month if you keep up this way, or who knows, even more perhaps 🙂
I think that they realize that and that’s why they want to buy it from you, but if you are not there to blog (since it is your blog) i do not think that it will be nearly as valuable as much if you leave from here, so don’t leave, since i think that if you leave then us readers will probably not come back to read the posts since they will not be the same…

Theoretically, a website is worth about 10 or 12 times its monthly earnings. So if your site makes USD 2000 a month, you can sell it for USD 20,000. If someone offers significantly more, then it is worth selling, unless you think you can still increase its earnings greatly, or you have some emotional reason for not selling. Just remember that if you sell a money-maker, you will need to build another money making website or blog again.

To me you made a good decision, this blog is doing well in SERP and of course it will still increase its quality. Getting attracted with the huge $$ today may lead to a regret tomorrow.
