When your blog is gaining success many people knock at doors asking to sell it to them. Same happened to me when Mr.X(I don’t want to Disclose it) told me that he is interested in purchasing SmartBloggerz.com
He stated that he is willing to pay anywhere between $7,500 – $18,000 for this blog which I actually didn’t ever realized that this blog price is set so high. He told me that the process of acquiring the blog will be made from escrow service like flippa or any else which I preferred.
But I clearly Told Him that, “Sorry But This Blog Is Not For Sale for Few Years…”
I am not willing to sell this blog at this point of time because I am currently highly addictive to blogging and can’t let my blog go like this on which I have worked hard for so many months to build it up.
One clear reason which I gave to him with honesty that, I am not selling this blog because it’s getting improved greatly for many strong keywords on search engines whose benefits I really want to experience.
So, guys this Blog is not going for Sale even if someone gives me million dollar which probably no one will give ;0
What do you think? Did I took the right step of not selling this blog? What will you do in case someone want to buy your important blog? Will you give it away for the moola’s the buyer is offering?

You probably made the right decision Typhoon, you can easily make that figure in short period. Since you manage and develop it well for quite some times, why we want to sell it unless you’re purposely create this blog for flipping purpose.
Anyway, I’ve yet to receive any offer for buying my blog. 😀

man don’t think the price offered to you is too high, it can be high BUT i think the buyer probably realizes that your blog has a good tight community and could be monetized easily..

I’m glad you are not selling. My position is don’t sell a moneymaker unless you really need the money. You would probably be able to re-create your success here on another blog, but it would take some time.
Still, I bet you WOULD take the million $. I know I would.

There are probably two reasons he wants to pay such a high price. One is the current traffic and earnings. Another is the earning potential. He probably thinks you are under-monetizing the blog.

I think it was a very good decision not to sell and to be quite honest I think this blog is worth much more, at least in the long run it is. You get a lot of visitor and your Alexa ranking is awesome! Its at 46,386. Plus, I sometimes use websiteoutlook[dot]com to see how much a site is worth. It kind of accurate but 100%. Well, what it says about your blog is that it is worth a little over $41,000. That is amazing!
But if you ever do decide to sell it would have to be to a person who can keep the great content coming because then all of your hard work would have been for nothing.

Well, site such websiteoutlook is too much, how can my free blog is worth of $900+? So, that $41000 is too much. But even like that, i believe this blog is worth more than $18000.
