I am Happy to announce the launch of Commenting Idol – 2 Contest. As I said in my earlier post that it will be going to be bigger and better and I am sure you will believe in that statement after reading out this post.

This time we have increased the cash prize and also have received many valuable prizes from sponsors. Also, this time there will be 2 Bonus Prizes. One will be for “Best Commenter” and other would be for “Best Promoter” about which you will read shortly below.

The Rules!

For Winning Top Commentators Prizes:

  • To Win Prizes being given to Top Commentators, you will have to be amongst Top 5 Commentators of the Month
  • Please Note that the widget in the sidebar is showing Top 10 Commentators of the month
  • You will have to strictly follow the Comment Policy
  • Your main comment should be min. 3 lines long and your replies to other comment could be of 1 line or more.

For Winning Best Commentator Bonus Prize:

  • It doesn’t matter how many comments you made at the end of the contest i.e it won’t matter whether you are in Top Commentators or not.
  • For Winning this prize, you will have to win my mind. The Prize will be given to that person who will make informative comments. It doesn’t matter how much comments he makes.
  • The person will be chosen by me and one can not ask question on the final decision made by me.

For Winning Best Promoter Bonus Prize:

  • Don’t have much time to Comment and take it’s benefit? Don’t worry. If you have a blog and a Twitter Account then you can win prizes in this category.
  • For winning it, Tweet this post (optional) – can increase your chances to win.
  • After tweeting it, make a new blog post on your blog which should consist of the prize list. Please Copy-Paste the Prize Lists as it is From This File (Click Here). You can only edit the styling of it (compulsory).
  • Once you are done with those 2 things, Contact Me With The Subject “Applying For Best Promoter”  and in that include your twitter profile and blog post link.
  • The Winner will be chosen randomly by putting their blog post link into Random.org randomizing service.

Some General Notes

  • Cash Prize will be sent via PayPal.com account transfer.
  • At the result day, winners will be provided with the sponsors contact email id’s to grab their prizes.
  • For some fun, I will be playing with Top Commentators widget in the sidebar like by not displaying it someday, removing the comment count etc. So please don’t report it as a problem.

    This is a great contest and really should bring out some smart new ideas for building backlinks.

    One way that I like to find niche targeted blogs to post comments on is by using ALLTOP.com to find high quality websites in your niche of choice, then I use a firefox extension called SearchStatus. When you install SearchStatus in your browser you right click on the logo “q” and turn on “Highlight nofollow links.”

    That way you can find do-follow backlinks, but don’t overlook a nofollow link. If it is from a good relative content site it still might bring you some visitors if your comment is good enough.

      Oes tsetnoc is a mirror word of seo contest, right? It’s a keyword which required by promojunkie seo contest.

          1. You can not directly put your keyword in the Name field. But since I am using KeywordLuv plugin, so people can use this format in the name field. – “yourname@yourkeywords” eg. John@logo design

            This format will link your keyword to the link you provide = Link Juice.

            But If someone is found only putting keywords in the name field, then I will edit the name field and add some name taking hint from the email or just any other fake name but will make sure it links to his keyword.

  7. Can i person win more than 1 type of contest (f.e top commentator and also best commentator)?

    Anyway, i think hiding the post count on the top commentator list is not just for fun, it’s usefull. Why? Sometime there is a people stop their effort to win a contest just because seeing a big number which 1st-3rd commentator have, their think no chance to win and then stop.

    Well, exception is come to this contest since there is a lot of contest type.

            1. Nothing is happening like that. Actually when I log in my blog dashboard, I accept the comments and also reply to it at the same second so I think it might be confusing to you.. All of the comments have now been accepted and No pending comments are there at this moment.

    I’ve won a couple of commenting contest but not never the top prize. I can see Akira posting here too…he just won top prize at Techzoomin for 2 straight months!

        1. Another contest sometime annoying. Even there is 3 prizes, the difference of prize is so far. I ever participate on 3 winner contest which offer $250 for the 1st winner and $20 for 2nd winner. And i’m lose a bit of point, and get only $20 🙁
