Article Marketing is one of the successful way of internet marketers to make profits with products. Many people, looking at these successful internet marketers also desire to make money online through article marketing but many of them fails because they are not able to create an attracting article that will convert into sales for them.
In order for our articles to pull in visitors to our websites from major article sites like EzineArticles.com; we need to create our articles to do two things. One is to offer useful information and the other is to attract them to click through to our websites.
By offering useful information, we are able to build trust with our readers. This also subtly establishes us as experts. You also do not want to reveal everything within your article. When you do so, they will click away once they read your article and not visit your website where you make your sales.
Your article should be a teaser article written to convince them that they should click through to your website and see what you have to offer. If it sounds challenging to you, I assure you that it is not as I will illustrate to you how easy and simple it can be.
Format of a Traffic-Pulling LSI-Compliant Article
For pulling good amount of traffic to our article, we will first need to get some Long Tail Keywords for our self. A great article on DoshDosh, titled “How to Find and Target Long Tail Keywords for More Search Engine Traffic” could be of great help to you in searching it.
Now once you have searched it, you have to make use of them in your article. Let’s use a keyword like “Registry Cleaner Software” for the purpose of illustrations.
Format of an Article
All articles should contain 3 parts:
- The article title;
- The article content or body;
- The author resource box
Article Title:
The article title tells your reader what to expect from your article. Make it catchy and invoke curiosity. Keep it below 100 characters.
“10 Tips To Keep Your Registry Clean” and “How To Fix Your PC Registry In 3 Steps!” are some examples of powerful article titles.
Tip: People love numbers. Numbering always attracts the attention of your readers.
Article Body:
The article body is where you share the information with your reader. Ideally, have 1 article introduction and at least 4 paragraphs including the conclusion.
Author Resource Box:
The author resource box is where you can place your links to your websites. This is where you pitch your sales and is the most important portion. A lousy resource box will spoil your entire article and ruin your chance of making any sale.
On the contrary, a well-crafted resource box will capture the attention of your audience and make them want to check out your website. Compare these two.

Which one is more attractive and which one will you usually click on? Look at what others are doing. Use their ideas.

I would CLick The Second Link Since it is more attractive and tells abt wat it is all abt … btw article can convert into sales if you have great number of readers nd that can lead to sales…nd the most important of the 3 things i think Articles Title Is The Most Important nd that only decide whether one should Read the Article or not…

Also love the usage of number on the title idea. Well even i’m not reading yet a data which prove that people love number, but as a reader i feel it right. This matter already discussed on many blog.

For some reason, lists are – and always have been – quite popular. Maybe it’s because reading seems more manageable with a roadmap of sorts. A lot of people don’t really like to read, but if you promise only to hold their attention through “7 things” they’ll sit still long enough to get the gist of it.

How about an idea to use list but on the end of title?
If usually, people will create “100 ways to get backlink”, how if i make it become “Get backlink in 100 ways”. Still effective?
.-= akira07´s last blog ..Make or Break – Website Review =-.
I think the first title will attract people more better. The other title is looking good but it looks like some improper title.
Ya u are right we should know the trick to catch the people in the right way 🙂

For some strange reason words like “trick to catch the people” used in such close proximity to one another get my hackles up. And then it becomes another one of those irresistible challenges…
Catch THIS. 😉
Well, I give you props for “in the right way,” but I’m still wary of the bear traps lurking in the forest, and I’m well aware that your avatar sets you apart from “the people.” Hmmph.

Them’s fightin’ words, Dennis!!! Grrrrrrr.
Although, occasionally, it’s fun to write something that’s MEANT to be picked up by the scrapers. It’s kind of like the old “reverse 419.” 😉 Except the latter’s probably more fun, since there are real people – not just mindless bot scripts – involved.

Hey Typhoon,
You are absolutely right about writing great articles and how, if you gain the trust of your readers, they will click through to your linked page.
I think it is also helpful to understand that the landing page you send readers to should also help the reader and should not be “just a sales page”.
I find when I click through to a hardcore sales page I am immediately put-off. I’m not saying there can be no attempt to monetize the traffic you generate, but if you offer up some value, you’ll be closer to gaining a trusting customer in the long run.
Thanks

The technicalities of writing an article is widely known however there some that really goes overboard although quite convincing doesn’t necessarily convert because it scares people away especially superfluous digits and too good to be true testimonials. One of which that I dread the most are squeeze pages that doesn’t offer any value.
Building trust and integrity should be the first priority of every internet marketer and that alone once achieved can bring in unspeakable rewards.

I have found some of my articles in the most bizarre and stupid places; I’ve stopped submitting them for the time being, because they’re only working for others. Of course, that’s because I misunderstood the whole concept and actually wrote articles, not ad copy.

Those are big words to you, Dennis? Big words are things like “floccinaucinihilipilification.” As in, “Our former President’s floccinaucinihilipilification of our country’s economic woes did not, in fact, make them any less real or significant.”
Go over to my site and search for “Wordy Wednesday.” I see I’m going to have to start that back up!

Usually I don’t click on any link in this way, but if you want me to choose, I will choose the 2nd one, at least I know the 2nd link has cheaper or free report, but usually I don’t buy this kind of ebook. But no doubt, article marketing is a great way in converting sales. I’ve been writing more than 10 articles and submitted to Ezine, I did receive quite some traffic to the landing page, of course generated some sales too.
I believe that choosing the right product and affiliate program to promote is the key, I’ve promoted few products and only 1-2 products did well.
This is a great tip though.
Regards,
Lee

Proper article marketing can make a site build visibility and authority status in its niche. A good marketing article can bring name recognition, authority status in a niche, and might also bring in backlinks and even targeted traffic.

I have already tired writing an article which converts to build some back links to my site and also to drive some relevant traffic but sad to say that I haven’t tried article marketing which may lead to sales.
I believe that this is because I don’t have a landing page for a product. Or maybe it is because I am not really active on affiliate marketing?
.-= Paul @ entertainment tonight´s last blog ..Movies to Watch for this Christmas =-.
What do you mean really active on affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing is need you’re active just for in the first, for the rest, it will automatically running (passive income). But of course, article marketing is support it, so we can’t say affiliate marketing is 100% passive income.
In the case of you, there is many possibilities. The important thing, already try the tips given above?
.-= akira07´s last blog ..Make or Break – Website Review =-.
I don’t know about this passive income thing, akira07. I bought shampoo the other day that promised to raise my IQ 50 points while I slept, and conditioner that claimed it would make money for me while I slept, but I woke up $3 poorer and feeling kind of stupid.
.-= Holly Jahangiri´s last blog ..Pre-order A Puppy, Not a Guppy =-.
That’s why, there is so many definition of passive income. In my personal opinion, i agree there is no business concept which 100% earn you money while you’re do nothing.
So, i define passive income as income which earned using the Pareto principe (20% 80%). And on affiliate marketing, the 20% is coming from writing article and setuping account on affiliate site+make a website, which give us 80% of earning.

This might also explain the near-migraine I had, yesterday. I don’t think it wiped out those cells quickly. I think it dissolved them, slowly and painfully.
Speaking of slow and painful, anyone know the number for the dog catcher in Houston?
.-= Holly Jahangiri´s last blog ..Ethics in Blogging =-.
I am personally a Dog Lover though I don’t have any pet dog at my home(due to my mom who thinks that I can’t care myself then how you will care that dog) but I give that love to my street dogs..I hate Dog Catchers who catches innocent/cute dogs but I am completely with them if they are catching any dog dangerous to human beings in any way..
I’m a dog lover, too. And the two I’m growling at this morning are actually kind of cute, but their owners should be fined. These dogs are roaming the neighborhood – in violation of the leash laws (all dogs MUST be confined by a fence or a leash when outdoors, and must be under the direct supervision of a human), and they are growling at/threatening kids on their way to the school bus stop. I found them – they’re just trotting all over our neighborhood, marking their territory (everyone’s lawns and porches), and generally being an adorable nuisance. I called to them both, and the chihuahua’s a cheeky little thing, but only brave enough to bark at me – won’t let me near it. The little bulldog’s being fairly docile, just following along with its tiny, troublemaker pal. I didn’t quite have the heart to run them over with my car, even though the chihuahua dared me too and tried playing “chicken” with my front tires.

My answer is : I will click #2 option. The #1 option is not interesting at all, i know john is selling something, so what? I can’t get it….
The option no.2 is attract me because there is a clear amount about how much you can get if using the technique, and also more additional information which can make people hynotized to click it.
.-= akira07´s last blog ..Make or Break – Website Review =-.
Click, click, click…but will you buy?
You are getting sleepy…sleepy…sleepy…why are you staring at me like that? You said to make people hypnotized to click it!!!
.-= Holly Jahangiri´s last blog ..Why are They on Facebook with No Face? =-.
Haha but the important thing to do first is to make people click it.
The rest, buy or no, it’s all depend on how the sales letter writted.
However, without “one simple click”, there is no chance to get earning
.-= akira07´s last blog ..Make or Break – Website Review =-.
If you JUST get people to click it, though, won’t that get you banned by Google? (Oh, there I go being disingenuous, again.)
.-= Holly Jahangiri´s last blog ..Ethics in Blogging =-.
the question was which link would u like to click…nd as far as buying is concerned it depends on the product…
.-= Lucifer@Blog Contests´s last blog ..Chance To Win Laptop & IPod =-.
I’d like to click the one that says, “I’m going to give you $1 million right now, no strings attached, and no ‘hidden offers’ to complete. Just click this link. And I don’t even need your name, address, serial number, or bank routing info…” Hah! Thought of everything, didn’t I?
.-= Holly Jahangiri´s last blog ..Ethics in Blogging =-.
If someone offers that big amount without having anything in return, then it means the person is probably a scamming or the money he is offering is Black Money i.e Illegal.
Ya think? Really? Dangit.
