It is true that running a membership site can be a great way to earn a residual income from each person who joins. BUT, I just want to caution you on some things. First you must add enough material and update frequently if you want to convince your members to remain with you. Running any type of membership site yourself takes a lot of time and effort. Unless you are well experienced in your niche and have a lot of time, I would suggest becoming an affiliate of a membership site belonging to someone else. There are thousands of membership based subscription sites which pay affiliates not only on initial signups, but also on rebills. Many of these can be found on Clickbank. This is just another option for those looking to making money with membership sites.
I personally have not try this type of making money on internet, but I think that this job is not easy. It is hard to persuade somebody to join and then to stay in your membership. Many people leave after a short period of time, they are bored and you have to find another people to join. You need the best creativity for this job in my oppinion.
