There are numerous ways jezz to build backlinks but this post was meant to tell you what are the three methods that I’m using to build backlinks on mass basis and quickly. Sure, forum posting and blog commenting are nice ways to build quality backlinks. yes, i agree top commentators widget may bring massive backlinks but they are not permanent backlink which may be disappear in some months. For that one should always be active on the following blog.
While I knew that the opportunity to build a free theme and insert links in the footer existed I was not aware of the sponsorship route. It seems like the cost is minimal, but the return could be huge. Do you still recommend sponsoring a theme even if my website is not in the same niche as the theme?
I see the big positives to becoming a top commentator on some of the larger blogs, but isn’t the downside that every month, for most blogs, you will have to start commenting again to make sure you stay in the sidebar?
Yes, the wordpress theme sponsoring still works and is highly popular but I guess, (it’s just a guess) that Google is giving very less weightage to links in footer part of a website but it hasn’t completely denied them…
And yes, regarding your seconds question, if the blog is big and gets high number of comments then you will really have to be more active and start up from zero every month. Don’t look at the downside, always see the positive side of it 🙂

Autoblogging revolution is a big factor in Link Building. Blogging can return you a quality link especially in dofollow(s) site. But sometimes, using dofollow plugins can be abused.
I feel that there is too much theme out there on the net to make theme sponsoring works
Those newbie can even use torrent to get free premium theme that are more attractive than the free one.

This is why I hate spam, I have genuine interest in topics and have to wait days before i am able to join the conversation because bloggers are forced to approve comments on a individual basis, and on top of that they use the nofollow attribute across the board to keep from linking to spammers and encouraging them. However, many times, when my comment is approved, many blog owners realize I am genuine and lift the nofollow from my comment to show me some respect in return for the value I add (I have pretty good understanding of seo by the way), those are the ones that get my following because they respect me. Anyway, I will check back later to see if I have been allowed in your conversation respectfully. I look forward to being able to join the participation if you want me to. People quit spamming, it causes me much trouble. If you are not interested in the topic, go away. Blogs like these are nofollow anyway and aren’t any help for seo. – The comment was very small or was containing some repeating sentence
– The comment did not offered any value to the post and looked like more of a way to get a backlink
– The comment was deleted by mistake due to the amount of real spam the blog gets (most probably this happened)

The comments on this blog go dofollow automatically when it reaches a cap of some comments. It is somewhere between 5-10. Once you have that amount of comment on this blog, your comments will go dofollow automatically.
