On 3rd method my only suggestion is to make sure submit your article to Ezine first once they approved your articles you should change the headlines and submit rest of article directories otherwise due to exclusive right violation Ezine will suspend your account.
The article marketing tip is a good one. We have done article marketing and I didn’t realize how effective it was until I set up a Google Alert for my name. I was amazed at how many places pick up the article, as I would be alerted every time my name appeared on a new website.

If don’t know coding then you can hire the coder to build one for you and then promote it or you can go on to digitalpoint forum and in the template sponsorship section, pay the theme maker the desired amount for putting your link in it.
The theme idea is brilliant!!. I’m currently working on the Top Commentator method, and I already use Free Traffic System, but not as much as I should on the last one.

I think search engines tend to ignore or pass very little value for footer links in themes , I think they changed it because someone ranked first for “credit cards” in a short time by sponsoring few popular themes , so I doubt this method will work to get good rankings especially for competitive key words.

I agree the top commentators is very powerful! I used it for a new blog two months ago and in 1 month, my backlinks was already at 6k backlinks from Yahoo! But the problem is that we lust always keep our comments in the blogs if not we will lose them… I try to build free design also but it was too complicated for me…
