It will be my pleasure to announce with this post that SmartBloggerz has now successfully moved to HostGator VPS. Also, that my Exams are now over(and hey, I got Freedom from school for 3 months), I will be able to give more time to blogging.
I decided to stay with HostGator because of their Customer Support and my experience(the good one) using it when this blog was on it’s Shared hosting plan.
This move was basically made to handle high traffic load and also to try and solve the internal server problems which many people were reporting(even I saw that). Plus, this VPS hosting will now give me the ability to work over an E-store.
I will soon start writing articles on this blog, jsut getting the blog perfectly ready. In the meantime, if you see any kind of error or strange things on this blog then just hit me mail from the contact form.
A special thanks to Shivendu Madhava of TechnoZeast for helping me during the blog move.
P.S: I’m hoping that this post arrives to your email as a full feed rather than just a summary. This was also one of the main things I wanted to get solved on moving to VPS..So keeping my fingers crossed..
Welcome back, congrats on finishiung your exams and on higher level of your hosting package, i hope the blog revenue covers up for the additional charges cos the site loads quite faster!
Great to see back in action and waiting for some good posts about blogging and money making from you.

Welcome back and congrats on finishing exams. It is frustrating sometimes when you want to make time for things but know that certain responsibilities have to come first. Enjoy your time back blogging.

Wow that is actually a HUGE jump in terms of cost. I haven’t had any problems hosting 10-15 websites on my shared hosting plans… so I suppose I am a bit unsure as to why you felt the need to make that big step up to a VPS plan? I know that it gives you a bit more “control” on a few things and I could probably do a few more cool things if I had shell access, but could you comment after you’ve been on it for 1-2 months about how it was worth it/not worth it?

The main reason for this shift was to solve all future problems if their is a sudden traffic spike..I don’t want to get my account suspended in that case. Also, there were few problems going on with my server like too much internal server errors, slow loading etc. So I decided to go with a VPS plan..
If it is important I would really be publishing my experience of hostgator VPS.
Great move to HostGator VPS, I wish you all the good luck and welcome back!
