Many People while starting blogging basically uses a free domain name like .tk,.co.nr,.uni.cc and many more fundoo domains.They have to do this basically due to lack of funds just like what happened with me while starting blogging but later on managed in giving my blog it’s own domain.
Many people takes their free domain from .tk but you should remember that they do not not give you any dns support. They will just redirect your url like smartbloggerz.blogspot.com, to www.smartbloggerz.tk just like tinyurl does.
If you are a newbie you will not get to know the difference.It will create a framed web page thus your original site body will not be indexed by search engine.Just the meta description & meta keywords will be indexed.
Therefore when people will search a required topic then the search engines like Google cannot find it even if you have written it in your blog post.Thus you will keep loosing your potential visitors & you won’t get a decent traffic.
So I would recommend you to buy a domain if it’s affordable otherwise stick to your .blogspot domain Or If your blog is popular then you can ask your readers for the donation.If they like reading your blog they will definitely help you.

THis happened to me actually. I was using .co.cc at the beginning and everyone has adviced me to get out of it and switch to .com domain as it is more good and universal. I can see good response and blog reached many people after switching to .com

of course yes and I can see people not interacting or networking with us well if we are in free domain or host. That really makes me bad,
