SmartBloggerz New Update On Twitter Private Profile Bug

Recently, Mashable told about a new bug in which with the help of Google you can see private twitter profiles by using – site:http://twitter.com/*private profile* Here we are taking billclinton profile as an example.

But the problem is that you can only see some little words in the search results of Google and no cache.

So Now I went on and modified it. Now you can use that term on Yahoo search Engine. Just put – site:http://twitter.com/*private profile* in the yahoo search box and see the cache of the results listed there.

  1. Hi there, thanks so much for commenting over blogengage the other day. Nice meeting you and this is my first visit here. Nice site, also very ‘handy’ Twitter tips too. ^^ NO worries, I won’t be using it to prive others’ privacy, although that’s quite the same thing happened with Facebook earlier about privacy issues if I remember correctly, someone did bring that up. Hopefully social media sites will do something about it to protech users’ privacy as promised. Finger cross.

  2. I try it on yahoo using your technique and find it’s still work. However no system is 100% perferct in this world. But what i wonder is, why twitter still not updating their system when the bug information already spreaded on internet? So, make it private/no is now a same. Hope twitter aware about it, since i’m fear people can use it for certain negative activity.
