When your blog is gaining success many people knock at doors asking to sell it to them. Same happened to me when Mr.X(I don’t want to Disclose it) told me that he is interested in purchasing SmartBloggerz.com
He stated that he is willing to pay anywhere between $7,500 – $18,000 for this blog which I actually didn’t ever realized that this blog price is set so high. He told me that the process of acquiring the blog will be made from escrow service like flippa or any else which I preferred.
But I clearly Told Him that, “Sorry But This Blog Is Not For Sale for Few Years…”
I am not willing to sell this blog at this point of time because I am currently highly addictive to blogging and can’t let my blog go like this on which I have worked hard for so many months to build it up.
One clear reason which I gave to him with honesty that, I am not selling this blog because it’s getting improved greatly for many strong keywords on search engines whose benefits I really want to experience.
So, guys this Blog is not going for Sale even if someone gives me million dollar which probably no one will give ;0
What do you think? Did I took the right step of not selling this blog? What will you do in case someone want to buy your important blog? Will you give it away for the moola’s the buyer is offering?

You made a right decision. Money doesn’t mean all, your brand is more important than the money offered by the buyer. You can even earn more than that if you keep on going and improve your blog, you can simply earn 10x from the money offered by the buyer.

I think its a good decision. If you love your blog never sell it. Majority of the bloggers wont be ready to sell off their hard work. Its no hard to make that offered amount for you are real a serious blogger with a lot of commitment.

Ok, now the result is “SmartBloggerz still by Typhoon”. No problem, i’m sure 1-2 years later, if you decide to sell it, the price is more than $18000. Haha, but just for information that $18000 is equal to one card in my country 😛

Based on this case, i just notice there is new way to investing fund. If in the past, people investing on forex or stock share or property (real estate), now the trend is quite move to buying website/blog. It’s interesting fact.
Because :
1. Blog is virtual
2. The investing process can all done by online
Smartbloggerz is a example of site where people wanna invest.
But just like a real investing process, there is a time we need to keep and hold our securities from many offer, and there is a time to sell it out.
Maybe sometime SB is on sale? Who know….

That was the right decision Typhoon. No doubts. I am sure even I get someone after ten years I wont sell my blog as I always think how passionate we were and how much we liked the growth of our site just like our child. How can I hand it over to someone. Its a hard feeling. But you mentioned , you are not selling for few years. Does it mean you will sell after some years?
