Google’s New Year PageRank Update 2009

Just like previous year pagerank update, Google have now updated their Pagerank values for website owners.

This year, SmartBloggerz remained at PR4 but it gained PR1 from previous year. One of my autopilot blog gained a PR1 and rest remained at zero.

With this post being published, I also want to wish all my readers and friends a Very Happy & Prosperous New Year.

  1. Definitely happy – One of my blogs went from PR0 to PR2 in only 5 weeks since it went live. My SERP’s have steadily increased, but this could be attributable to the backlinks I have been building rather than the PR. Google does to have given away PR far more freely in this update though – I wonder why?

  3. Hello Typhoon. Congrats buddy (though its late:) )

    I just wanna ping you onething. I saw that 3 URL : “Blog URL Having PR greater than blog main page”
    Those 3 URL is 301 redirects. According to Google PageRank system, if a page redirects 301 (permanent) to another page, the specific page will get the pagerank of the page that your page is redirected 🙂 got confused?? That twitter page is having PR5. thus your Redirect link will automatically get a Pagerank 5. You can use “Fake PageRank checkers” for ensuring this type of Pagerank.

    1. Well, PageRank seriously doesn’t matters to me much now. Was really mad about increasing it earlier but as the time passed, the importance of it to me have decreased and it’s just an interesting thing to me now.

      I already know that there are many redirect links having a PR and I also know that it ultimately benefits the final page and not my blog..But I didn’t understood what you meant to say by posting this comment? Just wanted me to aware me about that?
