You can add &nbsp; after every </a> to give gap between those images..
You can increase the gap by adding more &nbsp; after every </a>

  4. thanksfor your prompt reply Typhoon. I tried adding   after "< /a>" but it did not worked.
and when I return to thecode this   disappears from the code. Is it possible that my template is not accepting   in the code and it does not get save whenever i save it and if does not saves then it does appear as a space.
Hope you will save this problem of mine.
