Perfect timing for this post. I have been wondering how people were sending the thank-you emails, as they all looked somewhat similar. I guess Comment Relish is the answer. Also, I really want to check out that Comment Edit plugin. The plugins which have you provided in your post are very useful to any wordpress blog. By use of these plugin we can reduce the spamming and increase the number of quality comments. I will use some of these.
The dofollow plugin looks good. I’ll use it on mine. Thank you for this info. 🙂
I think making your blog dofollow will surely boost up the comment but make sure you announce it on the blog that you are using Do-follow plugin and thus all the links in the comments will be do-follow and blah blah..
Combine your commenting do follow plugin with top commentator plugin with do follow activated also. That double combination will boost comment in a short time.

Some nice plugins you have listed. I like a lot of them, but am trying to keep my number of plugins down to a minimum. I think my site is getting a lot of comments and it will surely increase over time.

For blogger platform I don’t think there are much options. There is only top commentators widget available. Rest is tone hack to make the comments dofollow. And one way to make yahoo smileys appear on your blog about which I have already written a blog post many months back. Nothing else than that is available.
It’s so bad for blogspot user :(. I hope there is a kind people convert wp plugin for blogspot user. Anyway i want to know the name of top commentator plugin for blogspot, since you mention it. Thanks in advance.
