I am thinking about a few ways and could not even come close to 20 ways, but you did. The list is huge and will take some time for me to go through.
I agree that link exchanges are not as effective as they once were. If you give a link to a company and they give one back to you, the exchange is even. Neither website’s ranking will change in most cases.

Thank you for informative blog. To get the immediate result of SEO it is necessary to have backlink from .gov or .edu website. Google give superb importance to government and educational website. It would be really great if we can get some way we can have back link from .gov website. Please let us know if any one have knowledge about it.

Building backlinks is probably one of the most important, yet dull aspects of ranking a site in the search engines. Thanks for the refresher though – I’ve taken a little break from press releases, but may start using these again for some extra link love!
Wow your list of backlinks sources is really complite that are all my sources too. But one little thing is missing! What do you think about backlinks from guestbooks? I think it is a very easy and fast way to get backlinks and they get nearly never rejected.
