Good content and back links are the actual part of SEO campaign.These back links should be do follow as these are very helping in raking of the site but some SEO specialist insists that some no follow links should also be part of your campaign to make the campaign successful.

These four tips aren’t just good for improving rankings but will give us a permanent boost in our SEO campaign. I have personally felt that long-tail keywords rank pretty quickly if your domain is of good PR so they’re always easier to get into top 10s than short-tail keywords. Other three tips are pretty good as well, but we’ve to keep in mind that in quest for good ranking we don’t bombard our site with thousands of backlinks within a day or two because that would raise an alarm for our site.
As far as domains go, that is really not a huge deal. It is good to have keywords in the domain, but not necessary to dominate rankings. I have always outperformed keyword domains with non-keyword based ones because the rest of my seo work was on point. I can tell you however, that you will get traffic with keywords you never even targeted. If you have analytics installed, you will notice this. People find you often for phrases not even related to you sometimes if you post something off-topic, or use off-topic phrases in a post for some reason.
I fully agree to your points. If you are going to focus, only, on a single main keyword, it will take a great time to get the top ranking and you will get no traffic during this period. Making individual posts on your website targeting the longtails of your main keyword will give you easy and instant search ranking with traffic. Also when you will get good ranking for longtails, it will become easier to rank for your main keyword too.
I find that a lot of people confuse point two with owning lots of domains – one for every keyword they are after – which just makes it harder to focus on any link building, since they have multiple sites to get links for, rather than just one.
Or, worse, lots of sites with duplicate content.
This is a really useful post. I never knew that keywords could play a very strong role in SEO rankings of a site. It just takes a lot of effort, time and patience to be able to improve one’s search rankings dramatically.
