This is a guest post by Charles Borromeo from Justice-Explained and he likes writing as well as blogging. In this post, he tells us what are the things we as a blogger can outsource to freelancers in case our blog is growing rapidly or we don’t have much time to manage all the aspects to run a successful blog.
Once your blog has reached a certain maturity and a certain income level there will be a time where it might be difficult for you to handle the whole workload.
This is where it might be important that you consider outsourcing some of your work. Although some bloggers may not be keen to delegate the blog posting part as this is the cornerstone of their success, there are some tasks that you might be interested to outsource. This is what we will be covering in this article.
Design Aspect
This is perhaps the first thing that you will want to outsource. Most bloggers at the beginning will want to control everything whether it is the design, the posting and the blog maintenance but things will have to change once you start to grow. Given the number of designers that are available all over the web, you should not have problems finding someone to help you manage the design aspect of your blog. freelancer.com and vWorker.com are example of some great places where you could find gifted designers.
Blog Maintenance
Maintaining a blog where you receive hundreds of visitors is not the same as handling one that received thousands of visitors daily. You will have to care about the hosting, bandwidth, database maintenance and security aspects of your blog if you want everything to go smoothly. One alternative will be to leave the blog maintenance in the hands of the ones who design your blog in the first place but you will have to be prepared to pay a monthly fee. However this will allow you to focus on your primary assignment, i.e. blogging.
Blog Promotion
This is another aspect of blogging that can be time-consuming. You may have the best content but if you do not promote it properly then you may have very little traffic. Article submission, blog commenting and link building are all tasks that can take up a lot of time for bloggers. Places such as Freelancer.com and Elance are filled with service providers that will offer you these services for a reasonable fee. Additionally you might also want to take a look at the marketplace of the big webmaster’s forums such as Digital Point Forums where you can find affordable service providers.
Advertising Management
In the case of big blogs then you might need someone to take care of managing your advertising space on your blog. It is true that most bloggers will start with Google Adsense or some other affiliate banners, but after some time you might find it more lucrative to deal directly with your stakeholders. This is where you might want to have someone that will take care of managing your advertising slots. This will provide you with some free time to devise plans to grow your blog.
Piece of Advice
Before you begin to outsource you might want to create a budget. Indeed it may be quite tempting to delegate most of your work but this can place significant pressure on your finance.
Make sure therefore that you make a specific budget and stick to it. It is also important that you have some measures of control in place to ensure that your outsourcing effort is truly worthwhile.
These four areas listed above are perhaps the most easy task to outsource when a blog begin to grow up. The only thing that will be left will obviously be the posting task and this is perhaps one of the most difficult things to outsource. However there are some bloggers that have successfully managed to outsource this part of their blog as well and may be you can consider this at a later stage.

Thanks a ton Charles for this great write up…In my opinion this post is a gift for bloggers because bloggers can easily save a lot of time and effort by using these suggestions or tips …very useful post
You have explained the anatomy of blog management. Some bloggers fail to manage their blog as they have no managing ability. It is good to out source some of your work to bring your blog at high standard.
I’m too much of a control freak to outsource, but I’m considering it because I just don’t have enough time. Thanks for the tips!
Outsourcing is certainly the way to go when we have too much work on hand. I may want to go this way also… currently my workload is taking a lot out of me. Thank you for sharing your outsourcing tips.
It has become quite obvious now that, anyone who is into blogging seriously with the aim of generating authority needs to start considering outsourcing aspects of their blog and I think this post deals with the topic in detail.
By now, I haven’t outsourced my blog work, because my blog is not a big one. 🙂
I think among the outsource items, blog maintenance and promotion are the most important. Blog Maintenance is to make sure the blog is running stably, and Blog Promotion is to make the blog keey active and shining.
Good advices for bloggers, but outsourcing means some investment of money. Big bloggers they don’t need to invest, because they are the biggest. Small bloggers they don’t need to do this, because they always will find theirs readers. That’s it 🙂
Charles,it is great post from you.I have not outsourced my blog work yet.But now it becomes difficult for me to maintain all the tasks.
Maintaining my blog is not a problem for me. Because I have planned everything beforehand. When you can not manage your blog, how can you be successful in everyday life? I mean time and work-management.
