Once your blog has reached a certain maturity and a certain income level there will be a time where it might be difficult for you to handle the whole workload.
This is where it might be important that you consider outsourcing some of your work. Although some bloggers may not be keen to delegate the blog posting part as this is the cornerstone of their success, there are some tasks that you might be interested to outsource. Design Aspect
This is perhaps the first thing that you will want to outsource. Most bloggers at the beginning will want to control everything whether it is the design, the posting and the blog maintenance but things will have to change once you start to grow. Blog Maintenance
Maintaining a blog where you receive hundreds of visitors is not the same as handling one that received thousands of visitors daily. You will have to care about the hosting, bandwidth, database maintenance and security aspects of your blog if you want everything to go smoothly. One alternative will be to leave the blog maintenance in the hands of the ones who design your blog in the first place but you will have to be prepared to pay a monthly fee. However this will allow you to focus on your primary assignment, i.e. blogging.
Blog Promotion
This is another aspect of blogging that can be time-consuming. You may have the best content but if you do not promote it properly then you may have very little traffic. Article submission, blog commenting and link building are all tasks that can take up a lot of time for bloggers. Places such as Freelancer.com and Elance are filled with service providers that will offer you these services for a reasonable fee. Additionally you might also want to take a look at the marketplace of the big webmaster’s forums such as Digital Point Forums where you can find affordable service providers.
Advertising Management
In the case of big blogs then you might need someone to take care of managing your advertising space on your blog. It is true that most bloggers will start with Google Adsense or some other affiliate banners, but after some time you might find it more lucrative to deal directly with your stakeholders. This is where you might want to have someone that will take care of managing your advertising slots. This will provide you with some free time to devise plans to grow your blog.
Piece of Advice
Before you begin to outsource you might want to create a budget. Indeed it may be quite tempting to delegate most of your work but this can place significant pressure on your finance.
Make sure therefore that you make a specific budget and stick to it. It is also important that you have some measures of control in place to ensure that your outsourcing effort is truly worthwhile.
These four areas listed above are perhaps the most easy task to outsource when a blog begin to grow up. The only thing that will be left will obviously be the posting task and this is perhaps one of the most difficult things to outsource. However there are some bloggers that have successfully managed to outsource this part of their blog as well and may be you can consider this at a later stage.

Normally I have read on many blogs that some bloggers outsource the projects of contents writing and also commenting reading and approving them.These projects are posted on freelancing sites.

First put your all efforts to earn money from your blog, when you feel that work load is beyond your limits, go for outsourcing your work.First check the quality of work. For remote service never pay amount in advance.
that is a reaally nice post Charles. I think we should outsource our work, for example link building and seo can be really time consuming. We should outsource that!
It’s not a bad idea to get some blogposts outsourced once in a while to get some high quality and fresh content.
A good advice about the blog management but sometime outsourcing your work become a disaster for you if an inexperience person is chosen by you. First of all get full grip on your work before outsourcing it.
Outsourcing a small percentage of your total blog posts is also a great idea. It opens your blog to fresh take on certain topics you may already have in mind. It also allows you to take some time off to recharge your batteries.
I have outsourced a number of tasks in the past, mainly design related tasks.
In principle, outsourcing can be a useful tool to create leverage. The problem is that finding reliable people to work with can be very time consuming, too. I recommend to look at finding freelancers the same way as if you were looking for long-term employees. Because once you found a reliable freelancer you want to keep working with that person again.
Another thing I recommend is to learn every task you want to outsource by yourself first. That way you will have a much better understanding of the problems involved and what you can realistically expect from the freelancer.
Think of outsourcing as your team building process. You are looking for freelancers that can become part of your team and as we all know success is a team effort. Thank you.
