Making Money Online

This is a guest post by Emmanuel from IncomeScene.com

I recently published an interview with Andrew Rondeau on my blog. If you read that interview you would notice that one point he consistently hammered on was this,

That’s the quickest way to be successful. Find a mentor who has a reputation for being excellent and ‘suck them dry’ of all their info and knowledge.

I definitely have to agree with him; you need someone who has tested the waters and can differentiate between a hoax and the real deal. If you prefer learning all the details by trial and error, you can still beat the mark you set for yourself but at the expense of time.

Yes! You really cannot make any money online and I’m not scared to say it and in case you thought that was a mistake please read it again… I said “You can’t make any money online”.

Let me put this clear to you, if you think you can just go online or just buy those e-books or videos from those self acclaimed internet business gurus and just start having money sent into your bank account then you had better wake up from your dream.

Also don’t think you can make money online by opening a PayPal account or make money by reading eBooks that teaches you fast ways to make money online.

Some other people think they can just design a website or create a blog and start making money from the internet in few days.

I know many bloggers are scared to admit this fact but I’m telling you the truth: “You really might never make any money online all your life time”.

When I was stuck in a full-time day job with seemingly no end in sight, I desperately wanted to create a full-time income online so that I could purchase my freedom.

I wanted nothing more than to check my daily online income and see $100 dollars or more, each and every day.

I wanted the ability to work on my online businesses at my leisure, without being forced to work every day in a job I did not enjoy.

I finally learned how other Internet marketers were achieving significant growth online, and I vowed to follow their example and create my own success.

Let’s face it.  Starting any business is difficult, but starting a business in this economy is downright scary.  And starting an online business has its own set of particularly challenges.

You’ve got to always have your eye out for ways to improve your SERP ranking, not to mention think of new ways to drive more viewers to your site. While we all know that there is nothing like new and exciting content to get people’s attention, creating great read material is not always as easy as it sounds.

The main problem with creating content is that it typically takes about three times as much time to research and outline what you want to write about as it does to actually write it.

Of course, you have to do your due diligence if you want to write a good article, but there is a great way to make your hard earned research go further:  use it to write more than one article.

This is my 5th year now in blogging and my 3rd since starting my flagship blog MelvinBlog.com.

I am very happy to say that I’m making money from blogging but even up until now I still view it as a dream-come true kind of thing.

It was just a realization a long time ago and I never really thought it’d be possible. Heck, I wasn’t even sure back then if its true or just some form of a gossip. 😉

Anyway, if you’re not making any money yet then this post is for you. If you are making money, yet this post still caters to you. Below I will be talking about the reasons why you’re not making that much money yet as a blogger although I’m not limiting it to just blogging itself.

Of course, I’d be damn confident to make controversial statements below that might piss you off but hey it’s me who’s posting this article. 😉

Here we go:
